From First-Fill to Fourth-Fill: Age and Cask Character in Glenfarclas Family Casks
On Thursday, November 5, Club Mareva Beirut will host a tasting of four Glenfarclas Family Casks examining age and cask fill level. Presented by Kenny Abi Chedid.
- 2001 – Cask 3762, Refill Hogshead, 54.7%, one of 194
- 2002 – Cask 88, 4th Fill Sherry Hogshead, 58.9%, one of 231
- 2007 – Cask 2670, Refill Sherry Butt, 59.9%, one of 620
- 2010 – Cask 531, 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt, 59.2%, one of 647
Only these four bottles will be tasted. Cheese and cold cut platters, coffee, and soft drinks are included. Priced at $100 per person.
One bottle of the Family Cask 2008 Summer 2024 (Cask 2112, Plain Butt, 57.7%, one of 538) will be given away.
