The genesis of the first cigar traces back to the 10th century Mayan civilization, a narrative imbued with a richness that mirrors the evolution of Club Mareva Beirut. These early innovators, after their routine tasks, would resort to a ‘sicar’ – the humble predecessor to our contemporary cigar. As we transition from the antiquity of the Mayans to the opulence of Club Mareva Beirut, it’s evident that the core philosophy persists – the sacred ritual of savoring a well-crafted cigar.
If a Mayan were to traverse time and space into Club Mareva today, despite the initial astonishment at the sophisticated ambiance and high-end amenities, he would likely appreciate the sanctity we’ve maintained towards this age-old ritual.

Located in Beirut, Club Mareva offers a unique place of peace and pleasure to their members and guests. Equipped with a state-of-the-art Spanish cedar humidor, this club boasts its excellence with one of the most advanced humidification systems to both its storage and walk-in humidors. An integral part of the cigar smoking experience lies in the intricate ventilation system, which Club Mareva Beirut proudly advances as the best in Lebanon.
The British style lounge presents the guests the luxurious feeling of attending a racing Grand Prix reminiscent of the times of Stirling Moss with the Jaguar Racing Green walls and the comfortable Italian full grain leather seating. The club offers two lounges, an open one with a big seating capacity, and a private one which can cater around ten people and which can be reserved for private occasions.
One prideful component at Club Mareva Beirut is the bar which caters international cocktails, and hosts a rare gem: Vlada Stojanov’s specialty drinks, one of the world’s best sommeliers based in LA, whose mixes are here to enrich your experience at Club Mareva with his specialty cocktails.
