The conversations that begin at Club Mareva Beirut have always deserved more than one evening. Our official YouTube channel is now live, opening another door into the club.
It is a place to spend more time with the people and ideas behind the cigars and whisky we love. We begin with a conversation that could only have happened here.
Our First Film: Rocky Patel in Beirut
In our first film, Rocky Patel in Beirut, Rocky joins us at Club Mareva Beirut for a 21-minute conversation. He shares his first impressions of the lounge and looks back on his journey from a legal career in Los Angeles to building the Rocky Patel brand.
The discussion moves from cigar construction, fermentation and aging to the challenges facing the industry. It also returns to Beirut: to Lebanese hospitality, New World cigars and what happens when people who care deeply about a craft sit down together.
Come Into the Conversation
A video cannot replace the atmosphere of the lounge, and it is not meant to. It can, however, bring a thoughtful exchange beyond our walls and let you hear a guest's story in their own words.
Watch Rocky Patel in Beirut, explore the Club Mareva Beirut YouTube channel, and subscribe to follow along. Then tell us which part of the conversation stayed with you.
The conversation continues at Club Mareva Beirut—and now on YouTube.
